An efficient and non-invasive method of healing all scars, even those from caesarean sections (c-sections,) using the Dolphin Neurostim Device for MPS Therapy. Within the body, scars cause adhesions, stress and reduce blood and lymphatic circulation. This creates abnormal strain patterns that affect muscles, joints, and organs, which can lead to pain and dysfunction. C-Section scars specifically can lead to neck, shoulder, back and hip pain over time.

A scar release treatment helps to reverse these issues by breaking up scar tissue and creating healthier functioning tissues. This is done through a combination of hands on massage techniques and by using electrical microcurrent stimulation applied to the scar tissue using the Dolphin Neurostim TENS device.

The external appearance of the scar is softened and faded while the internal tissues are released and create change at a cellular level. Functional outcomes include reduced pain and inflammation, reduced numbness, increased range of motion, and improved blood and lymphatic flow.

Occupational therapists focus on a persons ‘occupations’ which are the activities we have to door want to do everyday. In children these are eating, sleeping, self-care skills, play, school or daycare. In adults, we commonly assess and treat people whose physical or mental health is
impacting their ability to participate in the activities that matter most to them. This could be work or school, selfcare tasks, childcare, leisure activities, chores/ housekeeping activities, financial management, driving/ transportation, etc.

Our OT works under a person/family centred lens, we work collaboratively with the individual and/or family to set goals and enact change. Occupational therapy assessment and treatment for children is play based and very interactive. For adults the assessment will be conversation
based with the occasional standardized or observational assessment if the OT feels it would be beneficial. In adults, treatment looks like a collaborative dialogue to identify barriers, discuss and implement strategies.

to help remove any energetic/spiritual blocks and bring the energy back into balance. All sessions are
customized to the needs of the client. Beforehand, we will discuss how you’re currently feeling and any
specific ailments or concerns you have then your body, aura and chakras will be scanned. Then we move
to the Reiki portion of the session. Reiki is a hands-on modality wherein the practitioner will gently place
hands on your body to channel the Reiki energy. A floating hands technique can be used if a client
prefers. After a round of Reiki, your energy is scanned again. This is where a variety of complimentary
modalities may be used. Chakra Balancing utilizing the placement of correlating crystals, Aura cleansing,
Sound/Vibrational tools, additional Reiki and more may be used depending on where the practitioner is
intuitively guided. After a session, the goal is to have the client leave feeling more spiritually,
emotionally, and physically restored and uplifted.

Mommy and Me Sessions will be Reiki only. Technique used will vary client to client but will usually start
with floating hands or from a distance technique. Up to parent’s discretion. Mom and Baby will receive
Reiki together.

Cord Cutting Sessions- please email practitioner to discuss. For clients who have had Initial Appt and at
least one follow-up session.

As far back as history is recounted, women attended women in childbirth. They provided a ministry of education to young women about their bodies, having children and healthy pregnancies. Childbearing women relied on their close-knit community of women to assist them in labour, birth and early care of their children. Today we call this childbirth professional a doula. The WOMB Doulas are a team of doulas and childbirth educators committed to providing expectant and new parents with exceptional emotional, physical, and educational nurturing, love and service. While under the care of a Midwife, Family Physician and/or Obstetrician, we provide support both in the home and/or in hospital, giving families the best care possible. It is our goal to increase confidence and decrease fears with respect for our clients, and their birth and parenting choices - allowing for a more positive, peaceful birth and postnatal experience.

Our Fertility Support Doulas are trained professionals who provide preconception support to individuals and their partners. Just as a birth doula brings non-medical, non-judgmental informational, emotional, and physical support to the time around labour and birth, a Fertility Support Doula brings that same model to preconception and (in)fertility.

She has completed numerous post-graduate trainings in trauma therapy, family & couples therapy, attachment and family of origin work, children’s therapy, and Perinatal (Fertility, Birth and Postpartum) Mental Health.

Michelle is passionate about assisting caregivers in growing their capacity to be authentic in care for themselves. Dr. Jessica Santos is a family chiropractor, whose passion lies in working with aspiring, expecting or postnatal mamas, as well as ALL the babes she can possibly handle! While she loves to serve practice members of all ages, she has always held a special love for working with families through the common challenges of pregnancy, parenthood, infancy & childhood – and encouraging families to be able to optimize their life experiences and reach their true potential through chiropractic care.  It is her experience as an ‘almost lifetime’ chiropractic patient being adjusted from the age of 3, that inspired her to become a Chiropractor herself.

After completing undergraduate work in Psychology & Kinesiology at both Ryerson & York Universities respectively, she completed her post-graduate degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) in 2017 from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). She has completed multiple additional qualification courses through the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association), most notably being her Webster Certification designed to support optimal neurological function and structural alignment throughout mama’s pregnancy, and to encourage baby’s innate impulse and ability to get into an ideal position for birth. She is also certified and has extensive experience working with the PIPS (Pediatric Intraoral Palate Specific) technique and associated bodywork, which is intended to identify and treat suspected or confirmed intraoral dysfunction related to tethered oral tissues (such as tongue tie and lip tie), TMJD, and poor tongue function (both pre and post revision). Her work with infants has allowed her to gain a wide-ranging familiarity working both common and uncommon infancy and childhood complaints, ranging from colic, reflux and torticollis – to retained primitive reflexes, cerebral palsy, and neurodivergent conditions. Most recently, Dr. Jess has become a Certified Pre and Post Natal Coach (CPPC), allowing her to foster another passion of raising the standard of care for mamas after birth (and beyond) by showing them how to properly regain strength and rebuild their bodies safely and effectively after carrying, birthing and raising their minis.

Dr. Jess has two little girls of her own, which have inspired her to become passionate about researching, developing, and advocating for true informed choice and freedom through pregnancy, birthing, and child-raising experiences. She strongly attributes her incredible experience throughout pregnancy and birth, as well as her continued family wellness, to routine chiropractic care. She prioritizes continued education to grow her knowledge base, to be able to educate her practice members and her community about our body’s innate potential and emphasizes the importance of collaborative care to better serve the families of her community.

In her spare time, Dr. Jess loves spending quality time with her family and friends, as well as travelling, swimming, paddleboarding, and learning about anything related to infant nutrition, fostering immune function, or natural and chemical-free parenting. She is an ocean lover, is obsessed with pasta, loves playing and watching multiple sports, and loves to meet new people – so don’t hesitate to come and say hi!
